Entertain-In began after Chris Brennan was requested to assist with some "in home" entertaining, helping to silver-serve meals at private dinner parties. It soon became evident to him that there was a call for his service, assisting party hosts with their entertaining - hence the business name.
Through recommendations and word of mouth, Entertain-in soon began to build a substantial list of clients in and around the Newcastle and South East Northumberland area and it was not long before outside caterers approached Chris to assist them by leading the Front-of-House operations at their weddings and corporate events.
Disappointed with the standard of service being offered, Chris drew upon his 30 years of catering and hospitality experience to train a small team of carefully selected, service personnel that would become the Entertain-In Hospitality and Front of House services team, with the specific aim of giving an unrivalled standard of service to caterers, event organisers, their clients and in turn the guests at their events.
Having undergone his own management training over a six year period in Claridges, London and in Geneva, Switzerland, Chris then worked oversees for three years before returning to England to join a major international hotel chain, soon reaching his ultimate aim of managing luxury country house hotels. Chris now commands the same high standards from his service team as you would find in those top hotels...an ethos that has resulted in a huge demand for the services his team provides!
Chris, Your staff were excellent. All the feedback has been about how attractive, and efficient they all were. Several people went out of their way to compliment them. In fact I've just come from another meeting where it was reiterated again. Apparently all of the thankyou letters mention the staff. -- Dawn Simpson, Rock Warehouse Limited
The Entertain-In Hospitality and Front of House team is now much larger - but not so big that Chris doesn't know each member of the team personally. The Floor Managers, Waiters, Waitresses and Bartenders in the team come from all walks of life and are of all age groups but gel together as a cohesive team with grace and elegance like a well rehearsed ballet troop to give the very best of traditional service standards in a relaxed, friendly, discreet style, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
The team can be seen regularly at major society functions, sporting events and has had the honour of being asked to serve many dignitaries, personalities and members of the Royal Family (including The Queen!).
